Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP)

Orion’s VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) solutions takes advantage of IP networks to connect Orion’s Voice Switch and Conferencing Systems, over IP networks (LAN, MAN, or WAN) to dedicated End Instruments or software versions that operate on computers and laptops.
Orion has integrated an End Instrument / Operator Position which is identical to our traditional telephony systems in terms of ease of use and user experience.
Orion’s software solutions turn the everyday Notebook or PDA into a VoIP End Instrument / Operator Position. The Primary advantage of Notebook computer and PDA solutions is, they can be considered mobile terminals interconnected by user provided LAN & WANs.
The aforementioned VoIP solutions make the most of personal computers and IP networks. Orion answers this by adding VoIP to the user along with Web services provided by the operational Range or company as an excellent business move and integration of voice circuits with computer resources.
These VoIP End Instrument / Operator Positions can be implemented in an all VoIP topology or be part of a mixed TDM / VoIP environment.
VoIP End Instrument / Operator Position types are available in the following versions
Standalone / Dedicated
Notebook
PDA
